dont know where to eat at MK for dinner all the sit downs are booked and I'm just at 180 days out. Liberty tree is booked. All I see is plaza restaurant, crystal palace and Tony's town square what do you recommend

Are you paying out of pocket or on dining plan? If out of pocket, we like to do Plaza, because it's simple, quick and relatively inexpensive (but a step up from Quick Service, as you can sit down and relax for a bit). If dining plan, CP is probably the best use of a credit... but it's Character Dining, so if kids aren't a factor, Tony's might be a better meal experience.

CP? It's a buffet, so whether it's good or not is all relative. With the exception of Boma and Cape May, I personally never really feel that buffet food on its own is that great anywhere - what you're paying for is the character experience, so if that's not important to you, especially if you're paying out of pocket, you might want to explore the other menus.

Yeah CP sorry autocorrect. I was looking into breakfast there but you can't really mess up breakfast ya know. I def wanted a character meal so maybe this is the way to go

We have had good luck finding openings by looking every so often. Ok, maybe stalking the app :rolleyes1 People cancel or chage their trip date and the times open up. Another choice is to go to the Contemporary for dinner. It's a short walk from the park and has several good restaurants. There is also a boat ride to the Wilderness Lodge, where you can eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe or Artists Point.

If you want to stay in the park, just keep trying would be my advice.

We are going to try Whispering canyon this trip. I heard the boat ride was reasonable, the food was good and there's fun to be had. We used to love Tony's Town square but have found the menu has changed and the food the last two years wasn't as good as it used to be (and we aren't very picky). We ate at crystal palace twice last year and found both times to have good service, fresh food and lots of fun characters.

Liberty Tree Tavern, one of our favorites, is closed for a long rehab during that time.

My DH and I are in the same boat - we LOVE Liberty Tree Tavern, but it's closed for a rehab. Instead of switching to one of the inferior restaurants in the park, we decided to have dinner at Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian. It's only a monorail ride away! There are lots of great restaurants at the MK resorts. We thought about Artist Point at the Wilderness, but Narcoosee's won. Explore!
