MK dessert pre party timing.

We are doing the pre party (have 4 kids under 7) and the party is at 7:50. It says you can come 90 min early (6:20), but it's showing as fireworks aren't until 9:20. All the reviews I've read say go early but we have a large party (15) and have dinner reservations at Tony's at 5:30. Is it necessary to go super early for the desserts or am I reading it wrong and we should go closer to 7:50(party start time).

The people for the “during fireworks” party will start to arrive while you’re there and the food stations can back up and if you wait too long to go to viewing area there will be a lot of people there. If it were me I’d do a late lunch adr or quick service and save room for the “free” food at the party snd arrive early
