MK Dessert Party

I read a thread a long time ago about someone having a dessert party during the fireworks at the MK train station.....I think it might have been **********. I've searched and can't find anything about it. Can anyone point me to that thread or does anyone know anything about doing this? Thanks in advance!

I dont think there is one. Im meeting up with a large group of others on Oct and one of them tried to organize a party like that at MK since we did the Illuminations Dessert Party last time but they said it couldnt be done.

There are Illuminations Dessert Parties, but I think they are for Disney Weddings/Vow Renewals only. We are having one in December and I think that this is the only way you can book one. Hope this helps.

For the right amount of money you can buy whatever you want at WDW. But there is not currently a Dessert Party offered to the General Public. You would have to make special arrangements & pay big bucks to have a private party. That's probably what you saw at the train station.

The one the OP is referencing to occurred after another event was cancelled -- it was a this is what we can do for you event to replace the one that is not viable.

So I guess the answer is you won't have any luck arranging one of those. I did hear details of the event from the person who had the party and it did sound wonderful.

Anyone can have an Illuminations Dessert party if you get up enough ppl. I have been to 3 of them--all arranged by Disers. Im not sure how many the June one had but the Dec 2004 one had about 60 ppl. The person who arranged the Dec one is also arranging another one for our group and specifically asked about the train station and was told no.
