MK Dessert Party questions

Do you have a good view of the fireworks and castle? :)
There are two different "versions" of the party.

The "Plaza Garden Viewing" is much more "head-on" to the show.
HERE is a review and discussion that gives MUCH more in detail.

You can see the area (marked as "Reserved Dessert Party") on the map below.

Thank you, I read through your link and booked the Plaza Party. That week's "heavy crowds" prediction has me a little worried and while the desserts themselves aren't that well reviewed, everyone seems to say the location is very good. It will be our special treat for the trip.

I've done the plaza view dessert party, and I thought the desserts were wonderful. I'm not especially picky where sweets are concerned, so that may have something to do with it, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had plenty of time to eat and have seconds and weren't rushed. The CMs made an announcement about taking people to the viewing area around 8:40, but we weren't done yet, and a CM said not to worry and that we could go whenever we wanted. We were escorted to the viewing area at 8:55. There was plenty of room in the reserved viewing area to move around and find a spot that you liked. And the view was perfect. I can't imagine watching it from the Tomorrowland Terrace - the side-on view would take away from the castle projections and the symmetry of the fireworks. For my money, it's the best way to view HEA when the park is very crowded. You don't have to stake out a viewing spot 60-90 minutes in advance, only to find yourself jostled around and packed into the crowd with no room to move. It's true that there's really no way to eat $59 worth of food - you're really paying for the viewing area, with some really nice snacks thrown in.
