Sorry if this has been asked before but I wanted to know if it's worth it to get a day pass for Magic Kingdom and then another ticket for MNSSHP? This will be the first time we are going to the park during the party and want to go, but our only free day is on a day that the Halloween party is not going on. Just wanted opinions on if people have done MK during the day and then came back later (or just stayed in the park) for the party.

How many other days will you be there? If it is the difference between a 4 and 5 day ticket I would say sure because it isn't a ton money to go up but 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 and that's where it gets questionable.

We are staying there for a week and right now have a basic 5 day pass. We have a 4 year old and was planning on going to magic kingdom for 2 days.

Since you would be adding a magical cost to the basic 5 day going to 6 I would say go for it. It will be $20 more a day per a person and you can go at opening then head back to hotel mid day to nap your 4 year old and hesd back to Mk for 4pm entry of MNSSHP. If the 4 year old would nap in a stroller you wouldn't even have to leave just take a long midday break and pack any costume with you.
