MK closing time / MVMCP / PS time -- did I goof?

I'm wondering if I goofed.

I was thinking MK closed at 5pm on 12/16. On this site & on Disney's site it says MK closes at 6pm. I made PS for Crystal Palace for 4 adults at 5:30pm. We will ONLY have MVMCP tickets. We do NOT have any regular admission.

Will they let us into MK for 5:30 PS (1/2 hr before closing) based on a MVMCP ticket ONLY?

The past 2 years they admitted anyone with a MVMCP ticket after 4:00pm. They also did that for MNSSHP this year, so it will probably continue. I saw a post that the reason they allow admission so early is to avoid big lines at the bag check by spreading out the arrivals.

Thanks ---- it's our ONLY night at Disney.

Taking my 72 yr old parents to FL for belated 50th anniversary. Spending a few other days in other parts of FL....but convinced them to come to Disney for MVMCP. We arrive that day; do the monorail hotels; 5:30pm PS at Crystal Palace; got a room at Contemporary using great SOG rate....and we fly out the next afternoon.

Trying to cram as much Disney magic in as I can in just 24 hrs.

Hoping they will like what they see enough to want to come back some time.

All my experience from past trips is really helping with this!

I hope you and your parents experience extra disney magic on your trip. You should have no trouble at all getting in the MK with MVMCP tickets at that time. Have a GREAT time!!!!!

Bring your PS confirmation # with you to the gate. When I made my PS for LTT the CM told me they would check my PS # at the gate to be admitted to the park before closing. Have fun!!

The CM in Dining Services told me the same thing--that if I brought our PS # for our 5:15PM PS's at Tony's, we would be allowed in with just our tickets for MVMCP. Not sure yet if we'll use a day on our hoppers that day, but wanted to have the option not to...maybe sleep in and have a relaxing day before being up till the VERY END of the party. We're gonna close the place down!!!!
