I have lots of photos from last Christmas time. I can put them on when I get home tonight.

They were up by Thanksgiving. The Gingerbread house at the GF was too cute! :thumbsup2

Pictures are great, but......will the decorations be up by the first MVMCP?
We are arriving Nov. 12, going to MVMCP on the 13th. I don't know why they would have MVMCP if the decorations weren't up.

When is the earliest people have seen the decorations??? :confused3

I'm sure that the decorations will be up by the first MVMCP. They usually start putting decorations up by the second week of November and everything should be up well before Thanksgiving. Also, the Osborn Family Lights will be lit starting on Nov. 13th also.

I was there twice last year during the holiday season, once for a business trip during the opening of the Osorne lights, which was the second week in November (awsome) and once the second week in December (we did MVMCP the first Sunday of December). The decorations were going up but they were not all the way up at MK when I was there in November. MGM was fully decorated, but Epcot was in progress.

While we were there as a family in December they moved the Christmas tree from adjacent to the castle (where it was on during MVMCP) to the town square. Also the first few days of our vacation MK had some of the decorations down during the day and then put them up at night.

I have a bunch of pictures I would like to post but until the new webshots sight gets straightened out I am completely unable to do anything. Sorry!

We were there on November 9 or 10 last year and the decorations were up in Magic Kingdom. By the time we left on the 18th most things were up everywhere. The Osbourne Lights opened the 14th, but I think that might be even earlier this year. Is was so awesome to still take advantage of the Food and Wine Festival, plus most of the Christmas things too that week.

We were there last year when they were putting up decorations. We were there early in November, and again the week right after Thanksgiving (when the Christmas party started).

WE just happened to me at GF when the decorations changed. ONe night it was flowers, and the next morning, they had Christmassy florals up. WE even saw them briging in some of the stuff. They did not have the Gingerbread house up yet though. The CBJ (at MK) was transformed already.
MGM's were in process, but they didn't start lighting them. What was REALLy cool though, on our last night, they were prepping the MVMCP at the MK. After the park closed, they ran the audio and lighting for the show. From the balcony of our room we could see the light show on the castle, and sort of hear the audio. It was a really cool way to end a great stay.

Our second trip coincided with one of the first MVMCP's. by then everything was up. I imagine since they are starting earlier this year, the decorations will go up earlier. They might not have all the resorts fully decorated by then though, but that's just my hunch.
