On the very first night we were at Magic Kingdom we did the dessert party. When it was over they directed us out the bypass. Don't remember a lot, but I do know it was much faster. Maybe they will fix it up a bit, not sure about theme and all, but convience is good. Disneyland Paris has a bypass, and they say it is actually really nice.

I think its just fine. If you have ever been directed through the bypass right now its just a back lot tour. By making it more of a permanent theamed bypass, I say sure why not. When main street is just swamped, there really is no way to get in or out.
