We are usually at the Barber Shop first thing in the am, when the park opens. We went to go once around lunch time and it was crazy. So, we went to lunch and came back and it wasn't as bad.

We were at MK during spring break, which was very busy. The park opened at 7:00, which we were there for. We went to Fantasyland and rode all of the rides, as well as the race cars. We stopped at the Bakery on Main Street then made our way to the barber shop to be first in line. We got there at 8:50 and 4 more cuts lined up right behind us. It was one of the highlights of our trip! The color did rub off a bit on our stroller, but that came off with a baby wipe. Our son has light brown hair and he got red paint (mickey on the back of his head) We could see the mm for several days afterwards, as it seemed to stain his scalp a little...we didn't mind at all! The hours are 9-5 and there are always 2 barbers on hand at all times. We got a great haircut in only 15 minutes. It is a must do!

Getting a haircut at Disney World is a truly fun experience. I am talking about kids of all ages. I got my first haircut there at age the ripe old age of 43. I guess I am just a big kid at heart (This from a man that wears nothing but Disney or M&M ties to work).

I have had the mayor and the barbershop quartet in the shop while I was waiting.

The cost for adults is $17.00. The Pixie dust and gel is free with the haircut.

I have gone first thing in the morning as well as midday. The most I have waited is 30 minutes.

People tend to look at you funny with the Pixie dust and gel in your hair when you are an alleged grownup. I even had a woman hit me it the back of my ankles with her baby carriage in Epcot. She apologized and told me she was too busy looking at my hair and did not see that I stopped.

I highly recommend it for kids and adults!

Yes the barber shop will only do a gel and dusting if you ask and they will also use clear gel if you wish. I think it was 5.00 for dusting and gel. I got my hair dusted last Sept when we was there. Waited till the last day and wore my pixie dust home. As the dust fell out of my hair I left it lay to spread magic in my van and in my house. A few pieces fell out on an end table I moved it to dust for a good long while. Vaccumed out my couches just a couple weeks ago theres pixie dust in my couch I pick those up to vacuum then drop them back down under the cushions.

BTW my hair is very very curly and pixie dust lives a long time in my hair couple weeks I'd say. Thats with washing my hair and swimmin daily.
