MK Barbershop & Pixie Dust

What if I just want to get pixie dust for my girls hair. Is there a charge for that or do they need to get a haircut also? I hear so many good things about this place. What makes it so special?

We had the best time at the barbershop! The CMs who work there are so great, they really make it a special experience. My DH, DD, & DS all had their hair cut, colored with gel and sprinkled with pixie dust. The CMs posed for photos which included a special smock & huge toy scissors, it was very cute. A member of the barbershop quartet stopped in and chatted with us as well. The genuinely happy attitudes displayed by the CMs was so infectious that everyone there who was waiting got caught up in the magic! It was as much fun to interact with other guests as it was with the CMs!

To answer the pixie dust question, they surprised me with a shower of pixie dust for free ( a colorful mickey head confetti mixture). I have VERY thick hair so I think alot remained longer than it would have in someone else with thinner hair.The colored gel is what keeps the pixie dust in place. You can just get color and pixie dust, I'm not sure of the price. Another fun part was for the remainder of the day, other guests and CMs commented on my children's hair, which my DD in particular loved!

All of these posts about the Barbershop just make me so excited. We are going to get my DGS hair cut for the first time this Saturday!!! I can't wait!
