MK barbershop for women?

Just wondering if this was a good place for a woman to get a cut? I've read the theads about how fun it is for the little ones and even men but have any of the DIS women actually gotten a cut there? If so, can you give a report? Is it a good place for a just a trim or can one confidently get a style change? Any particular stylists you would recommend?

One of my favourite things to do while at disney is to get my haircut on main street. I have hair down to my shoulders and I always just ask for a trim (one inch or so). I have always been really happy with the cut they give, although I am not overly picky when it comes to hair. But I love getting the pixie dust and colour in my hair. I've had two different females cut my hair and both have done a great job. It costs $15.

In December we got DS's hair cut, spiked with blue gel and covered in pixie dust. There was a blue hidden Mickey in back too. While sitting on the curb waiting for the parade a woman(maybe 50) next to us was asking all sorts of questions about it. She loved it. She went to check out the barber shop as she had never known it was there. When she returned before the parade she had an identical haircut to DS's.

Does anyone know how much an adult womans haircut (just a trim) costs here? I'd love to do this in Dec! My hair is really long though. I hope they'll cut it!

Dd, then almost 10, had her hair cut in mid-August for back to school. It was pretty long so had it trimmed. It looked great and she was thrilled. I'm thinking about having mine done in August also, but mine is really short. Need some of that colored pixie dust!!!

My haircuts at MK barber shop have always been $15. A great deal! Make sure you get pictures of them cutting your hair!

I know they can't spike it but maybe they could sprinkle pixie dust in it at least ?

Actually a lot of CM's go there to get their haircut, it's kinda like going to a really popular restaurant cause you never know who'll be in there. Feel free to start up a conversation with anyone inside, you'd be surprised who you'd meet. There are typically 4 or 5 CM's that work there 2 regulars (Michael & Heather) and then on their days off and busy times in the year a few others, unfortunately their names elude me (oh yeah Bobbie, a lady there is one). Anywho yeah they'll cut anyone's hair and do almost anything you ask, if they have the tools available. Also prices there just went up but I believe Adults it's now $16 & children is $11 or 12. Either way it'll be below $20 besides they add their own disney flare to it. I recommend even just for a fun time stop by and say hi. Michael, on of the barbers, is pretty much a celebrity in his own right. Hundreds of families and CM's know him and he has many repeat customers including myself. So if you're curious or whatever stop by and say hi, also tell him Joshua says hi. :0)
