MK ADRs on Oct. 4th

I'm sure a lot of you have heard about people receiving calls to change their CRT reservation on Oct. 4th to an earlier time or different day. The rumor is that the park is closing at 5:00. However, there seems to be a lot of differing information the CMs and other sources are providing. So I am wondering since I've only heard about the CRT reservations being changed, has anyone else with a reservation at a different TS dinner in MK on the 4th received a call to change theirs? If no one has, it just makes me think only CRT is closing early and not the whole park - which is what I'm hoping for.
Anyone know for sure what's going on yet??

We had LTT for 5:45 pm on October 4th. Received a call yesterday from "Disney Travel" (per called id) to reschedule as the "restaurant" was going to be closed. 1st odd thing was the above information was relayed to me by my father-in-law as I entered his house last night for a party. Yes, Disney Travel could not contact me, so they tracked down my father in law at his house looking for me.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that is odd?

Back to the story......I call Disney Travel per the number on caller id last night. The dining CM had no clue what I was speaking about. I was insistent she find out why I was called. She placed me on hold, came back, said she spoke to her supervisor who said the MK was closing at 5 pm on Oct. the 4th. This info had just come out and they were in process of contacting guests with dining plans that night to reschedule. However, she couldn't reschedule because nothing was available and suggested I call back tomorrow. Hmmmm.

So today, I called DVC Member Services, since this is where I booked all my dining plans to begin with. They have no clue either. To make a VERY long story short (haha)....I was transferred 5 times in a peried of 1.5 hours that I had been on the phone. My last transfer was to "Bill" at Ft. Wilderness. Bill was very nice and we laughed about it, because of course, he could not help me. He did give me direct number to LTT so I could try and get ahold of someone there directly. I called, recording, so did not leave a message...will do so later today.

SO.......I called DVC Member services AGAIN. And started all over. CM Jill is working on it as I'm typing. She came back several times to me to get names, phone numbers and times I spoke to everyone. She had gotten ahold of some "higher power" within Disney Dining and they wanted to know all info that I had been given. Jill said either she would be calling me back or "Maritzia" in Dining would be calling me back directly. That was an hour ago - still no call. Jill did say she checked her "CM email" that has info they aren't supposed to give out to guests. She said her CM info lists MK as being open from 9 am - 9 pm. I told her I know, because everyone else I talked to said the same thing. BUT some supervisor last night said the MK was closing at 5 pm.

And apparently I wasn't the only one who was told this!

So, just to confirm...its NOT just CRT or Tony's....its LTT too.

Also, just FYI....I tried to rebook for the 4th around 4:30 for an earlier seating than closing. I was told LTT was not serving dinner at all on Oct. 4th so NO seatings were available. They would only be serving for the lunch period.

When I receive a call back, I will post what happens. If I don't receive a call back.......sigh......then I will just have to start over again!

I had LTT reservations and guest services called to cancel them and offered helping find something for a different day. I asked about the park closing at 5:00 and she said she was not sure about the exact time of closing but that it was closing early that night.

I couldn't stand it any longer, so I tried calling LTT directly. YES! Someone answered the phone. She confirmed, yes, the MK is closing at 5 pm on Oct 4th. The last seating for LTT that day will be 3:45 pm.

She was able to re-book me for Friday, Oct 3rd at the time I wanted.

She also said MK was planning to be open till 9 pm that night (the 3rd), even though posted hours are 7 pm. She did not put me on hold while she asked her mgr this, I heard him in the backgroun relay all this to her.

My suggestion is if anyone else has problems rebooking, try and call the restaurant direct and they should be able to help you. I would not recommend calling WDW dining direct. They apparently have not gotten all the info yet and I have spent all morning dealing with this.

DVC Member Services called me back. She confirmed as well that MK will be closed Oct 4th at 5 pm. She said WDW Guest Services is the dept that should be handling all changes related to the park closing early. She said no one would tell her why MK was closing early either, so now she is curious!

If anyone else needs to rebook MK evening dining plans for the 4th, here is the number I was given to call: 1-407-248-1727. I just called and it went to voicemail, but voicemail indicates it is Guest Services.
