MK ADR on a MNSSHP Night

I am wanting to book a dinner at Tonys in the MK on a night of MNSSHP. I know that to get in after 7 you need the special ticket. I wanted have ADR between 6:30 and 7. I called WDW Dining to verify that I could do this and was told yes. It is the same as if eating when the park was closed for the night. Well when I went online to book it the system says that the time 6:40 was during an event and I would need an additional ticket. We will be in MK all day. Will I have an issue with this? Will they refuse to serve us if we don't have a wristband? I don't want to have to buy tickets to a 2nd party just to eat.

You will be able to eat @ Tony's at that time wihtout Halloween Tickets.
restricted areas w/ CM asking for wristbands. Tonys not being one of them.
