Mixing cash ressie and points

Okay, here's my situation. I made reservations for November at BCV a couple months ago as a cash reservation, since I wasn't official yet. Now that I am a member, I would like to switch over that portion of the trip that was not already paid for in the down payment and convert it to points if possible. Do they do that? I can call MS and ask I suppose, but I figured the brilliant minds on this board can fill me in on what to expect without sounding like a total idiot!

don't know what the best method is but here is what I would do - call MS and see if the dates you want are available - if they are make the reservations - then call CRO (or who ever you make the reservation) and cancel your cash reservations.

CRO and MS are on 2 different computer systems - so I don't think that MS can change a cash reservations for a point systems.

You can't just substitute the points for cash so if the unit is sold out, you will not be able to change it over. I'd call right away and see what MS can offer. Good luck.

If you are given the option to choose which dates you wish to pay with cash, choose the Fridays and Saturdays. They are higher points but the cash price does not change on those dates.

We are doing a points/cash combination and are paying for Friday & Saturday on cash. Those dates are even in the middle of our vacation.
