Sorry to hear of your family's loss, Michele.

Thank you, Lisa. My 2 oldest girls are really sad. He always used to put the girls on his lap and sing old songs to them. When we went to visit him in the hospital a month or so ago, I taught them a song, and we sang to HIM. He really loved that. My husband is having a very hard time with it. Thanks again.

Hi nuts! What a gorgeous day! Emily's Communion was beautiful. She looked soooo pretty. Can't wait to show you some pics.

On a sadder note, however, Brock's grandfather died. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster of a day. He was a wonderful man, and I feel lucky to have known him.

First, on the happy note, we'd enjoy seeing the pics Michele. I'm sure they were beautiful!

On the sadder side, I'm sorry to hear this Michele. I remember when DW's grandfather passed away six years or so after we were married. I had known him about 9 years and truly loved him. It felt like my own grandfather had died so I can empathize with what you're going through. Hugs to you and your family.

I think part of it is Spring time. I know E and Squiddy and I are tied up a lot of weekends with kids activities now that the weather is nicer. Michele isn't often here this late at night and her husband's grandfather passed away on Saturday. I think PJ is actually studying for finals. Blue River normally takes the weekends "off" from the DIS.

I have no idea where Cheryl (CPM) is nor where late night Lisa has gone to. She doesn't seem to be around much anymore, not even on the weekends, though evening Lisa has started to make some appearances.

I have monumentous news for those who know me well.............

I, LBelle, am now an official CROC OWNER!!!!!!

Yep...it's true!!! Now, not those funny looking, gardener from Holland shoes laughing: )...these are really sweet khaki/soft pink sandals. Okay....I'll also admit....they are VERY comfortable shoes!!!

Bottom line...there will no longer be any need to get me drunk and super-glue a pair to my feet at the meet in Feb (unless you want to still see my dance silly on the bar tops and all!!!)
