Here's what my day looks like:

I have to order a cake for Emily's Communion which is TOMORROW. Then I have to go to Walmart to buy supplies to decorate a candle for her Communion rehearsal with is TONIGHT. Oh and before I go to Walmart, I have to call the church because they didn't give me this little card with her name on it that's supposed to go ON the candle... After school, Emily needs a haircut, and at 6:30 we have the rehearsal.

So I'm sitting here listening to music.

Yeah, I can CALL him...it's a matter of saying something then! I'm seriously considering just admitting that I really like him and would he like to get together sometime, even though I'm still not entirely familiar with the area. But then...what if I get his VM this time? Isn't it awkward to leave a message like that; shouldn't I say it in person? But then, saying it, even to his VM, would probably get him to call me back. If not, there's no incentive, right?

It's been way too long since I've done this.

I won't have a car tomorrow, but Mum is having me take hers for the night. Simply because of the distance thing (rather than her having to drive back and forth to take me home and pick me up again tomorrow). We're going to Macy's and the grocery store tomorrow. Sunday is usually my cleaning day, and that's when I was going to try to call Ken again (I'll chicken out).

It's a complicated situation, isn't it? Just try to be prepared either way -- for him to answer OR to get his VM.

I'm thinking Brazil nut because of your dark skin, even if you do have an Italian family line. Also, I believe the Brazil nut is one of the largest nuts and, well, I'm just sayin'.

So dh told the waitress, "We'd like an order of PUH-CON, pie" and she looked at us like we were crazy. Our friend and her bf were like "What are you saying?" so he said it again "PeCON pie" and she just kept staring at us and said in her cute British accent "I don't know what you're saying" Dh pointed to the menu, and she said "OHHHH, you mean PeeCAN pie"
and dh said "No, I mean PUH-CON" which started a lively debate on all of our Americanisms with our British friends.

What if I don't pronounce it either way? I'm a PEE-CON guy myself.

I heard that Greys is pretty much going to have an all new cast next year. Only 2 or 3 of the current cast members returning. Dunno if it's true or not but it's what I heard.

I can't spend a lot...just getting a gift for Gram for Mother's Day and something for Andrea for her bridal shower. I don't know what, though. I'll have to look through her registry again tonight and narrow it down.

19 years (wow, has it really been that long??? ). We met on our first day of our freshman year of HS. We were in the same science class, seated in alphabetical order, and since we didn't know anyone else, we decided to be lab partners.

If I went with the person with whom I'd been friends the longest...I think that would be about 30 years or so. But I haven't seen her in about 15 years, since I graduated from HS (she was a year behind me). I know she lives in Maine now, but her parents still live on my mother's street.
