Good Morning Nuts!

This keyboard has decided it will not be seeing in 2008!
'Shift' on one side only, 'Y' & 'T' as well as 'backspace' I have to pound to work:mad: :rotfl2:
Will post later when it is not so frustrating :rotfl:

Hello, Friends.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. The 14 hour shift was a little rough but I did enjoy getting to see all the happy faces of the guests, specifically the small children. There were a lot of grumpy Guests too, though. That wasn't pretty. Yesterday at Chef Mickey's a little baby girl had a seizure. Parents were screaming, girl was on the floor, paramedics came, it wasn't pretty.

I just had to pick my sister up from work. She has a really bad migrane so she went to bed. So, if there were any little girls looking forward to meeting Ariel in Norway today that is not going to happen. They were going to put Alice in Wonderland in for her. How Alice and Ariel are comprable I don't know. Alice isn't even a princess.

My lil sister is here too right now. Picked her up at the airport yesterday. Last night we went to a bar where I got carded to get in and she did not. She's 16 so it's a goog thing they didn't try to card her. :rolleyes1 It was a karaeokee (I can't spell that) bar and she and I may have gotten up and sang honkytonk badonkadonk. Or not.

OKAY. That's pretty much all I've got to report.

Donnisha Peej. Out.

Figures...the one time Jean and Donnisha are here, I'm not :sad1:

Looks like my cousin Allison will be coming to visit in March! And we'll be spending a weekend in Boston. I'm already excited.

That's awesome, Liz! Sounds really fun. How far are you from Boston? Are you back to work now?

Boston is about 2 hours away by car. But I'm not driving. We'll either take the bus or the train.

Yep, I'm back to work. We only had Monday and Tuesday off. We have to work this coming Monday, too, but only until 3. I got my bottle of Moet already chilling!

So what do y'all have planned for when she's here? I mean, what does one do in Boston specifically? I was supposed to have to work Monday too but since I'm seasonal I said nope!! I worked Christmas Eve and Christmas day and Sunday is my birthday. So, no thanks.

Dunno yet. A friend suggested the Boston Brewing Co., which I'd love to do, but I don't think Alli would be up for that. If her husband was joining her, maybe, but he's staying home. I have a feeling she probably wants to see the JFK Library. I pulled out my AAA book last night to start looking at things.

Happy Birthday!

I'm thinking visiting historical sites but the Big Dig would be something to see also.

Sunday is? I thought New Year's Eve was your birthday? That would be Monday then right? :confused3

After listening to DS9 coughing and breathing funny through most of the night last night (and getting very little sleep for myself because of that), DW took him to the doctor this morning who had us take him to the hospital where he is now spending the night and getting breathing treatments every 4 hours! Poor guy. He didn't even want to go to the doctor this morning, was saying he felt fine -- we're obviously glad we made him go.

DH picked up a new keyboard, so am back in business!

Will be reading back, but won't be on until late tomorrow~
Everyone have a great weekend!

Thanks! And I'm sure it'll be fun whatever y'all decide to do.

Hi, Jean. Bye, Jean. Hope to catch up with you soon!

I am watching Breakfast at Tiffany's right now and soonishly it will be time to pick my friend Eren up at the airport. :yay: We're going to dinner at 1900 Park Fare to see a certain Anastasia. Anyone have any good weekend plans?

Have a great one!

Oh, I must have read it wrong.

I happen to know of a company that makes calendars.

DS9 is doing good now. :yay: He came home from the hospital last night after spending about 32 hours there. He was ready to go at about the 24 hour mark and so was anxious, antsy, and bored his last 8 hours there. My understanding is that he had some sort of asthmatic condition but no one is sure what exactly triggered it. He is on three different types of inhalants and one liquid medicine right now.
