I'm at work..so I'm in a bad mood. How about you?

Also at work...not in too bad of a mood, but I'd rather be at home in bed. I'm also trying to convince myself to order a CD for my mother for Christmas, because it's only available in the UK and I'd need to order now, but I feel like I don't have the money.

I'm going to order it anyway. The only other thing I had in mind is a scrub jacket, but she's looking for jobs outside the medical field. With my luck, she'll get an office job and give up the medical assistant thing, so a scrub jacket would be useless.

Honestly Liz, if I were you. I would do just that. You might actually be a happier person. Doesn't seem that you would be worse off.
Where do you want to move do? Have you had any desires to live anywhere else?
I loved living in Boston, that is where I lived after leaving CT.
What about FL? There are such great deals on rentals right now. I'm sure you would be able to get a job anywhere if you put your mind to it.
A move might be just what you need. Change is good.

Mum got a call from my cousin Jennifer today. She's doing a scrapbook of Gram's life, and she called to ask for pictures of Gram's mother with her brothers and sisters. I spent the better part of the night going through a box of old photos - nothing of what she wanted, but tons of pictures of Gram's half sister Marcia. So of course I had to do my Jan Brady "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" impression

Believe me, I'd love to. Wonder if Allison could get me a job at the University of Chicago. I've tried a number of times to get something at the Field Museum, but apparently it's extremely hard to get a job there.

Gram was a Constance. I actually really like that name - one of the more normal ones.

Working at the Field Museum would be awesome. How about Museum of Science & Industry. That's my favorite.

I'm looking at the Field right now. There's a position for an "exhibitions preparator." God, I'd love that. Except I don't have the "At least two years of work experience in a Museum, industrial shop, or gallery are required." I should look at MSI, too; I love it there as well.

Oh, man, I forgot about Facebook. Haven't had a chance at work - we've been pretty busy because of the short week. I just don't know that I'd have the chance to keep up with it.

I'm also looking at the ad for a "guest relations representative." Except one requirement is "no extreme hairstyles, facial piercings, or visible tattoos." I wouldn't be able to wear skirts because of the tattoos, and something tells me the mostly-purple hair may be considered "extreme."

Maybe over the long weekend, if I have some free time...

I need to go to bed. Even though it's a short week, I still need to function at work. BTW, I'm also blaming my lack of sleep for why I inadvertently insulted someone earlier tonight...

You peeps were chatty lately, no reading back for me!

Soooo, guess what? I get to go to Orlando Thursday
After realizing that we have a few days off in a row, we were looking for places to go. PJ, we almost went to Destin! But, it's just too long of a drive
Tom wanted to go there so bad.
Anyway, after trying out some of my TA discounts, we decided on Orlando!
Then, my GF that lives in Orlando invited us for dinner!! It's going to be fun.
On Saturday we're going to ICE at Gaylord Palm resort. I've always wanted to see that.
Our Disney passes aren't good this week, so we'll go see stuff we normally don't see. I'm really looking forward to it.

Anyone else have plans??

Cheryl! That's great! I'm so happy for you! Hollywood will still be there on Thursday. She has to work Thanksgiving (at 1900 Park Fare-Anastasia) and then she's driving up to Destin on Friday. You should go say hi to her! We're going to celebrate Thanksgiving on Friday. It's the only day that we could all be together so we figured why not. We'll be off by one day but oh well.

I totally second Cheryl's moving plan for you, Liz! It couldn't hurt.
