He just loves getting compliments on his pictures

I almost bought the Rebel. I have the Olympus E-Volt 500, he'll know it. They are almost the same. I already knew how to use an Olympus and had the cards for it, so that's what I got. I have major lense envy.
No, I haven't read the whole TR sorry. I just can't get hooked. I'll read the whole thing when you are done.
