Mixed Nuts Part 2

Remember that tree limb I had to cut down the other morning? We don't have a working chainsaw, and the limb was too big to cut with the hacksaw (I spent an hour trying, though), so I pulled it up to the house and left it for now. Well...last night around 6:30, I found my mother outside in her nightgown and robe, trying to hacksaw the limb in half! What part of "you just had surgery" does she not understand?

What was she thinking??????

This is typical of my mother...it was "bothering" her, so she had to do something about it. She doesn't know how to relax and sit still...she's already talking about going out tomorrow (to be fair, her driving restriction was only for 24 hours), she's done some laundry...

Whoo-hoo! The boss just handed out the new office "map" - I get to move to the other side of the room, which means no more having to listen to Psycho Sue sing along with her iPod, no more AC in my face, no more open window on my back when it's 30 degrees in the winter!

Wait a minute, I just got insulted - by Psycho Sue. Jose complained that he's being moved to an area where there are no women, and that he's going to come back in here to visit because it's going to be a room full of women. Sue agreed, then said, "Except Cate"...(I use my middle name at work)..."she doesn't count."

Good thing I'm not going to be next to her anymore...

Well the Collegiate Women’s Water Polo Season is starting out here so most of our weekends for the next 2-3 months will be spent at Water Polo Tournaments
