Hi Lis....It's good to "see" you.:yay: :yay:

Real life sort of took over...I haven't been on much at all.

What's up with you?

Same as you, my friend. I could have just quoted your post!!!

I'm kind of lost without the Offensive thread anymore!!! :guilty: Well...not really so much as I just don't have nearly as much time to be on here as I was before. Family kind of likes having me around apparently!!!! :rolleyes1 Geeesh.....they're so needy!!!! :rotfl:

I know..tell me about it.

It was forced upon me. I am supposed to be broadening my horizons.

Hi, Jean. Just how rich are we in this scenario?

I just went out to breakfast with my aunt and got my nails done for the cruise! Now I'm off to the pool because it's a beautiful day!! Hope everyone has a great Saturday.
Hmm..Broadening horizons?
Nothing broadens horizons like a free root beer float--ask Rob

How rich? Well, let's say you work--but it's to keep busy & feel fulfilled. Let's say you've got enough DVC points to stay 6 months in the World, but not enough spare cash to bribe the Disney company into letting you spend a week in the MK Castle apartment. Let's say you have $250,000 to spend on the weekend and, well, make it a 3 dayer!
Peej, are you packed for the cruise?
What are your plans while at sea & on shore?

Paigie Poo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay: How are you, stranger????

Oh heck Yes!!! That one AND Texas Chainsaw Massacre!!!! :scared: :scared: :scared:

Ooooh....what fun!!! Let me see....1st I'd need to buy me a fancy, schmansy sports car to get me to my private plane....then I'd jet off to the Mayan Riviera where I would proceed to drink many Pina Coladas and Coronas in a funky beach bar in Playa Del Carmen!!!! :cloud9:  :cloud9:

Pixie!!!!! :dance3: Where on God's Green Earth have YOU been?????:confused3

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh..you just kill me!!!!!! :rotfl:

Manicures!!!! I just adore manicures and pedicures!!! Add that to my rich weekend list!!!! :woohoo:

WOWZA!!! I haven't 'multi-quoted' in FOREVER!!! Guess that means I'm baaaack!!!!!! Muawhahahaha!!!
Hi Lisa!
I never even attempted Texas Chainsaw Massacre! :scared1:
Too many chainsaws out here in the sticks!
:rotfl:
Yowza! Multi quotes! :cheer2:

Hi Pixster!
Yes, RL has a nasty habit of intruding!
Luckily, my family isn't all that fond of me! :thumbsup2

I love to be scared! The scarier the better...but I don't like gory.:scared1:
I guess I somewhat fall into this boat. I like the high intensity suspense filled dramas (like Alfred Hitchcock films) but don't care for films from the normal "Horror" genre.

My lunch today was TWO 99-cent root beer floats (nothing else) from Sonic. And the one we stopped at, in the big town of Belton, Missouri, had female car hops on roller skates wearing short shorts. Too bad Belton is about 46.34 miles from my house. (added the .34 on just to give Jean, PJ, and E something else to comment on)

-- Rob

Hello Bouncer.

I can't get The Omen or The Exorcist out of my head and I only watched each once years ago. Heck, the tree eating the kid in Poltergeist freaked me out.

I have never even seen wither of those. I heard The Exorcist is the scariest movie EVER!!!

Hi Rock Robster!

I'm w/Tiffer! No scary movies for me! :scared1:
My nightmare one was "The Missing' w/Tommy Lee Jones & Cate Blanchett.
It wasn't scary (it was quite interesting) but it had one gruesome scene that really disturbed me for more than a few nights! I am usually pretty good at skipping bloody parts, but this I didn't expect :scared:

That freaking TV thing, a true story, about the grizzly eating the 2 researchers, "Grizzly Man". they lived among the bears--but unarmed :scared1: Very disturbing on so many levels.

Well, let's move on to more cheerful topics:

It's Saturday, you're stinking rich, healthy ...so what would you be doing for the weekend???

I had to watch the movie seven in a film class! :scared1: Freakin weird.

If I had enough money I would be back in WDW. If not, I would be in Vegas or at the Atlantis.

:wave2:

It was forced upon me. I am supposed to be broadening my horizons.

Broadening horizons is a good thing...except for in this case.

You are speakin my language. Root beer floats are my weakness!

Oh, Rob!
You know PJ, E or myself would just never think of pointing out how very precise your mileage figure to short shorts is!

The part that flipped me out in "The Missing" was when the youngest daughter explains exactly what happened to her mother's lover :scared1:
I just did not expect to see that!

I'm thinking, I would head off to Tahiti! They appreciate a fuller figured (voluptuous) gal!
although, I just may have to keep my sarcastic trap shut :rotfl2:

and I could have cocktails on the beach

Hopefully, the Hairy Speedos won't mar the peaceful island charm!

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh..you just kill me!!!!!! :rotfl:
Why? I just needed an exact figure to decide how to best fritter this money away.

Manicures!!!! I just adore manicures and pedicures!!! Add that to my rich weekend list!!!! :woohoo:
I love manicures too aside from the fact that the woman hacked about half of my thumb off and it wouldn't stop bleeding. But, then I didn't have to pay for it. I don't do pedicures. I can't stand people touching my feet. Gotta have the manicures though.

WOWZA!!! I haven't 'multi-quoted' in FOREVER!!! Guess that means I'm baaaack!!!!!! Muawhahahaha!!!
Bout time, Trollop! :dance3:

I'm kind of lost without the Offensive thread anymore!!! :guilty:
I do miss the offensive thread. :sad2: Good times.

Can I talk them into a few nights in the castle? I don't think I'll need a permanent suite in there or anything, I'll be travelling a lot.
I am somewhat packed and you don't really want to know about the plans. I can't do a concise summary and the whole plan is contained in a binder with sheet protectors and dividers for each day. It's pretty intense and a source of endless amusement for my sisters. I can say that while at sea I plan to eat a lot of ice cream and just be on the Mickey boat in the sun! :boat:

I honestly don't know what you're talking about. NONE of the 3 of us would have even picked up on that if you hadn't pointed it out.

Oh, Rob!

She is correct.

Hopefully, the Hairy Speedos won't mar the peaceful island charm!

Okay, Jean, what's with the speedo fascination??

Jean, is this hairy belly and chest only or is a hairy back also part of this fantasy of yours?

-- Rob

Why?

Okay, Jean, what's with the speedo fascination??

Yes, Nutters, I'm admitting to a slight phobia:
hairy chests, backs & far too tiny Speedos--recipe for aesthetic disaster! :scared1:
Really, those fellows should be wrapped in brown paper & shipped off to...to.. ...to
Belton, Missouri, 46.34 miles from Rob's house! :teeth:

Hey, nutters. Quick update here...I saw Gram yesterday and she is indeed sleeping a lot. She woke up for a few minutes when the hospice volunteer arrived and Mum and I went to the store. Then she slept until 2. But surprisingly, after that, she was awake until I left. However, she has no appetite, she has very little output, she's itchy, and now her hands are swollen, so the fluid has reached her extremities. I wouldn't be surprised if she goes this week. She already predicted the 12th.

And I've got myself one heck of a cold. It's hot and humid here, and I'm freezing. I started sweating at 8:30 last night, though - a good sign. But I'm still exhausted and I can't stop hacking up my lungs. I also can't sleep. This sucks.

So sorry doll.

JT, I have "procedures" to have done and recover from this summer. I am hoping we will still make the Universal Trip my dh has planned for the long 4th of July weekend. He planned it all himself, and he's very excited. So I hope we can work around it. Thanks for asking sweetheart.

Hi Lisa, I've been kind of handling some things lately. Nice to see you!

Popsicle.

'Lo PJ

:rotfl: I know I've told you this dozens of times but you absoltuely crack me up. Such precise measurements, Jean. How specific of you.

I'm so sorry that you have to be sick on top of all of this. We're all thinking about you and we're here if you need anything. Take care of yourself.

If you say so. :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: Good to see you back!!!

Rob: You must be really sick. Hope you're starting to feel better.

Has anyone seen that Elisabeth Nurse Babe character? What about Michele?

We just went to the pool again today. It was absolutely gorgeous but I am pretty burned now. We were also doing something we shouldn't have been doing while we were driving and I didn't have a seatbelt on and I hit my head really, really hard. It made me feel all goofy and I just fell asleep for over 2 hours which I never do. That was really dumb and now I have a bump on my head.

Off to study for my final tomorrow....have a good night if anyone stops by.

I am. I slept for 15 hours straight last night -- from 10pm Saturday to 1pm Sunday! Thanks for the kind words PJ.

Aahhhh, to be young again. ;)

Liz - Just a quick post to tell you I'm thinking of you. I understand how hard it is and hope you're doing okay

PJ - Only two more days until you go on your cruise :yay: :woohoo:
Going to miss chatting with ya Peanut

ETA: Rob - I'm sorry to see you still have that awful cold! for you also

ETAA: To all the other nuts out there -

I'll miss you too, Bluester!!! I'm sure I'll find a minute here and there to drop in though and then I'll be home before you know it.

No sleeping tonight so I think it's time for random musings from PJ. I have come to the conclusion that life sucks a lot. HOWEVER, it did not suck quite as much when you were little. So I am commemorating being little in my signature and stopping growing up any further starting....now. Also this is proof that my sister and I have been wearing costumes since the beginning of time.

So here's an interesting musing...

So there's this bird, right. And we have this big atrium in our kitchen. Floor to ceiling windows. So the dang bird flies into the windows over and over. Bam! Bam! I think he's going to kill himself. The other day he flew into the window and then fell to the ground and he was just laying there for a good hour so I figured he was dead. Then, one of our cats came up and started sniffing at it and it jumped back up and was right back to flying into the windows the next day. I really do think it'll die eventually. Birds just aren't smart creatures.

PJ, GO TO BED!

Any more non seatbealt wearing, missy, & you will be mucking out Nursie's barn for what will seem like ages!
Hope your head feels better, Naughty Girl!
