Ok, I was actually out doing some minor yardwork and gathering all the trash to the curb. I thought if I waited until 11:00, it would be cooler outside but it didn't seem to be. My garage has a thermometer in it that reads 94 degrees and it felt cooler to me than the outside!

When I turned on the car yesterday the thermometer said 110 degrees. Beat that. It is going to feel so nice and cool in Ohio.

Tomorrow is our bimonthly heavy trash pickup day and our weekly recyclable day and our weekly trash pickup day -- my driveway looks like Fred Sanford's salvage yard!

Okay, can other people chime in on this one because I think this is strange. In Ohio (and Orlando) we just have garbage day. There ain't no heavy trash and regular trash. What's up with that? It's just one day a week.

My family met up with E, her hubby, and PJ at Chef Mickey while we were in the World. I'm sure they've filled you in in the meantime (don't know if there are pics as I haven't read back any). I'll just say from my end that they're at least as "normal" as I am...

It's okay, you don't have to pretend. I'm not normal. Just say it. Now about filling everyone in on what happened...let's see. Elisabeth and I were hotT, the GoofyDads all matched (it was really cute, I like matching) and Mr. Trollop thinks Minnie has shapely legs. Yeah, I think that's all that happened. Oh. And Elisabeth ate only brownies and donuts for breakfast.

p.s. sorry for my um "odd" behavior at CM's. I was beyond tired, and we all know that I get a little loopy when tired.

I think we should probably both offer our apologies. Elisabeth and I had a problem where we both talked at once nonstop. I'm thinkin people couldn't so much understand us when we did that. And we were doing that at CM's. Only reason you were tired was because you couldn't keep up with me and required sleep.

Let me just say it's a somewhat hollow achievement. It's mostly just because the former leader hasn't been posting here as often lately. (Maybe when she gets back to school.)

I am writing a disclaimer now. I WILL NOT BE AROUND MUCH WHEN I GO BACK TO SCHOOL. I am student teaching every day 8:30-3:30 and I have class Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 4:15-6:45. Thursday nights I will be teaching ballet and Saturdays I will be taking ballet. I also require some small amount of sleep and time to do my school work. Where does the online time fit into this schedule? Someone forgot to tell me that I should have given up on the graduating on time thing. This is gonna be crazy.

I would go with Embassy Suites South, it’s closer to the park and convention center (2 miles) and the most important thing is is is almost across the street from Joe’s Italian Ice shop, they have the best Italian Ice on a warm summers day, heck even in a cold winter’s night.

The Embassy Suites North is nice it's about 7-8 miles from the Park area, but it is not in too nice of an area.

Thanks for the info. I just booked the south for next July! Maybe we can have a mini meet! Do they ever give deals on DL tix?

Ugh! It's a freakin' car thermometer. Especially when you first turn it on, it's going to read 187 degrees in the summer and 12 degrees in the winter.

No, you have to call and schedule a special pick up for that stuff. Apparently in Ohio we don't throw away as many recliners and refrigerators whereas in LittleKC y'all are tossing them out left and right.
