Mixed feelings about Coral Reef

We have been many times over the years because of the view. I always enjoyed watching the sea life, and now it is our DS's favorite restaurant for the same reason. The food isn't great, but it isn't terrible. Sometimes it has actually been quite good, but we know we can't count on it from trip to trip. We go to V & A and signature restaurants (Cali Grill and Jiko are our favorites) when we want the best food to be had at WDW. But we still slip in a lunch at Coral Reef almost every trip.

Our family loves the coral reef due to the atmosphere, good service and great food. I think you should keep your reservation and form your own opinion.I hope you have fun no matter where you choose to eat

We ate lunch there in September. It was our first time eating there. Our reservation was for 12:30 and I was concerned it would be noisy because some people said it was when they were there. The food was good DH got Mahi Mahi and I got the steak. Service was good and the atmosphere was even better. It is now on our must do list.

So basically...the atmosphere is what makes the restaurant...not the food BTW we looove California Grill ...best steak we've ever had! Just didn't want to use 2 TS for it this trip!
