Ice in shaker
A sugar-rimmed martini glass

Mix lemon juice, sugar and vodka in a martini shaker filled with ice. Shake well and pour into sugar-rimmed martini glass.

Espresso Martini

1/2 oz Kahlua
1/2 oz espresso
4 coffee beans, for garnish
PREPARATION:
In a cocktail shaker, shake vodka with crushed ice for about 30 seconds. Add Kahlua and espresso and give another couple of shakes to combine. Let stand for a minute, to fully chill through. Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses, and add 2 coffee beans to each glass.

I love shaking up cosmopolitans! And I have some strawberry mix for margaritas and daiquiris. But a really easy drink is Malibu (coconut rum) and pineapple juice - tastes like a simple pina colada without all the blending.

Oh yes - I forgot about those! I haven't had one in years, but I love them!

There's a drink called Greyhound? I'll have to find out what that is.
ETA: Looked it up, it's gin and grapefruit juice?

My tastes are simple, I love orange juice and rum, my brother in law calls it a "Sunny Drink". Going with the orange juice theme, I can't say no to a Mimosa.

For obvious reasons, I have to try that! :teeth:

How about an easy Scottish speciallity?

"Long Vodka".
Coat a tall glass with Angostura bitters, and chuck away any excess.
Add a measure of lime cordial (concentrate)
Add a measure of vodka.
Top up with clear lemonade (7-Up etc) and ice.

Very drinkable and not too sweet. :Pinkbounc
