Misty Mate...

So I'm planning on getting a Misty Mate for my August trip. I looked on Mistymate.com, but at the risk of sounding like a ditz, I don't know which one to get. Which one is the best mix of size and power for park toting? Or is it better to just get a mister fan in the parks?

Go to the dollar store and just get one of those spray bottles with the fans on it - it'll cost less and probably be just as effective

We have the Cool Blast 2.5oz mister. It's the small portable one. I really liked ours. It was a nice cool blast in the heat. The kids loved it too. The only time it seemed less effective was when it was super muggy just before a rain storm!

Just pump it up and it gives you a nice cool blast. Jay really liked it too and he usually acts WAY too cool and manly for such devices!

It's also nice and slim and fits into whatever park bag you are using. It's not bulky like the other water bottle/fan thingies. Portability is a MUST for us!

This is exactly the one I used - it was great! I like it because it doesn't take up much room, but holds quite a bit of water. I don't like lugging around the bigger mister fans because they're so bulky and heavy.

I did find a mini-mister-fan at Walmart last year that I really like, too - it's very small, and has a carabiner than you can clip onto a belt loop, backpack strap, etc.

I bought the 2.5 once as well very effetive and takes no place at all .
Bought it at a wall mert last year for if memory serves me right around 3$.
