Misti vs. Randy vs. Disney Photographers?

So, I'm having an Escape wedding. With all the upgrades I plan on getting, I may as well get another photographer! What types of prices do Misti and Randy have? I saw their pictures and they're amazing! Will it work out to about the same for a small package from them as it will for all of my upgrades from Disney? (black & white prints and the Cinderella package)

I'm having an Escape wedding in October- and we are trying to keep the budget pretty low. But the one upgrade I decided on was Randy photography. He's amazing and the fact that so many important people are unable to attend the wedding- the pictures are all the more important. I decided to go with the 3 hour DVD only package which is only 450, and it's actually cheaper than paying for multiple prints for Disney! Hope this helps!

This was during the wedding, my husband was trying to whisper in my ear that I looked beautiful and I thought that he was trying to kiss me LOL, I said you can't kiss me yet! But Randy captured that moment!

I do have pics with just my husband LOL! But in my photobucket, I am not there yet. Randy took about 2000 pictures. So if you would like to see more, I will bw happy to see what I can find, those were just all together. Hope that helps!

oh you are going to have a hard time chosing!!! Both Misty and Randy are awesome...sometimes it also depends on what type of pictures you've requested.

It is very confusing since they both are great but what sealed the deal for me with Misty was that (1) she was a woman and I figured she would know exactly what I wanted pictures of which proved to be correct and (2) you get two photographers capturing the day since her husband is also a photographer so while Misty is dedicating all her time to you, her husband takes care of the men and other detail shots.

I am way more confused than ever now! I just saw Randy's package, and the DVD only package is VERY reasonable. (Does that include the copyrights to the photos? It doesn't specify). More reasonable than Misty's "broke and in love" package, but that package contains SO much more and I absolutely LOVE her style. But Randy takes amazing photos as well. I guess it's going to come down to what fits into the budget best! Here's a question for you all, did both Randy and Misty let you tell them what kind of pictures you want? And will they follow me around? (i.e., getting ready at the hotel then at the ceremony then around the Grand Floridian, as my ceremony will be at the wedding pavillion and want photos all over and I have a few ideas of the types of photos I want from photos I have seen on these boards!)

misty was great, i told her what i wanted and i had emailed some pics from here that i loved and she made sure we got what we wanted and then some!

She came to our hotel for getting ready then everywhere we wanted and she suggested palces as well.

She was the reason we got some world showcase pics as she asked cast members in epcot if we could go for a walk and they said yes.

We got all the rights to our cd and we have printed them all, all 2500 of them!!!!!

I have had several albums made up and i have prints round our house
