Has anyone read this book?

It's about the two girls who were in an accident and one survived while the other didn't (there were also 4 others in the accident that died). Well, they identified the one who died as the OTHER girl. So basically the one family was caring for someone they thought was their daughter when their daughter was actually dead. It's extremely confusing but worth reading.

It's a shame and a miracle at the same time. One family got the news that their daughter was actually alive but the other got told their daughter actually died.

I read the book in 3 hours...and it's a LONG book.

It is. I HIGHLY recommend it. The story is so unbelievable. At first I thought it wasn't real.

I'm more than certain you all will enjoy the book. It's extremely interesting and pretty much EVERYTHING that happened with both families is included. It's amazing.

The family of Laura Van Ryn (the girl who was actually dead, but they thought was the girl who survived) and Whitney Cerak (the girl who they thought was dead, but was actually being cared for by the Van Ryn family) and her family.

I heard about this when it first happened a couple years ago. I read about it in People magazine and there was just recently a special by Matt Lauer on it. Very sad.
