Hi,
We are off to Disney in December but i have made a mistake with my DDs ticket. I bought the tickets a couple of months ago with the Mousesavers special offer.
However, she was 9 when i bought the tickets and i went and bought her a child ticket, forgetting she will be 10 when we are there
Question is, what do i do?? Will they swap her ticket for me at the park to an adult ticket??
Im really worrying about this, so any help would be much appreciated
Thanks,

They will replace your ticket at guest servicesfor an adult, but they will neverask you her age and you will be fine with the under 9 ticket.

Trade it up to an adult ticket upon arriving at the park, paying the amount asked for.

Your child may have a used child ticket exchanged for an adult ticket at no charge but a (totally) unused ticket is not supposed to be so exchanged.

Furthermore, if your child at age 10 starts using the ticket and later there is the need to exchange it for an adult ticket, it may come out later that the usage dates don't make sense for your child's age and she (and you) can run into problems.

If the CM doing a trade-up does an exchange by mistake, you are home free. Except if the ticket is to be traded up again its trade up value will be the original child ticket pro-rated value, not an adult ticket pro-rated value.

Thanks all!
I think i would rather just fess up to what ive done rather than keep quiet and hope they dont find out!
Obviously i dont mind having to pay the difference coz it was my silly mistake!
The thing is we are going to be staying at all stars for 14 nights, so that would be a lot of lying!!!

14 nights --- Depending on how many days you plan to go to the Disney main theme parks, an annual pass may cost less than your existing tickets plus purchase of more tickets to finish the vacation with, even if you don't come back again within a year.

Depending on when you visit water parks, a 10 day ticket with plus pack can give up to 14 consecutive days of Disney fun (15 not necessarily consecutive days if the ticket is non-expiring). You can expand your tickets to 10 day if not already.

Thanks Seashore. I have 10 day hoppers, with expiry and no "extras", as it will be December im not sure if it will be warm enough for water parks and last time they were happy enough in the resort pool (Pop century).
I was wondering if maybe i should upgrade the ticket to an AP if that is possible, then at least if we do return within a year one of us at least will have our ticket!
We will prob. use all 10 days but if we dont i will definately add no expiry.
Thanks again all!! :)
