Mason: "I love you too" he said happily. Even though he wasn't doing it on purpose he realized that normally he would be using this time to focus on the next mission. But instead all he could think about was Scarlet.

Alex: She took her time getting up. She wiped some of the dirt off of her face and onto her sleeve. She examined the damage. Her phone was gone, completely destroyed. Only a couple bits were here and there, but they were too tiny to pick up. She started walking back, knowing she'd have to tell everyone what had happened.
