I'll be travelling to Disney World in April and can't decide if I should go on Mission Space. Chances are that I won't be returning to Disney for a very long time so I don't want to miss this opportunity. But then again, a friend of mine just returned from Disney and said the ride made her sick! What do you think? Thanks, Yael

Try the ride for yourself. I really liked it. Just be sure to follow the directions that they give you: keep your eyes open and on the screen, and keep your head back in the headrest. This ride is so cool! I rode it 4 times this past trip. Ignore the scary warnings before the ride and enjoy!

I am kind of freaked out by closed in spaces, so I was very nervous. I did not take my head off the screen for a second. I can do spinning rides just fine.

DH does not like spinning rides (even a carosel!), but loves space. He was looking all over the place during the ride.

He felt fine afterwards. I was a little woozy. It passed by the time we got through the area after the ride, but I was woozy.

I would like to ride again, so I can relax and enjoy it. DH was let down by the end, and said he will only ride it if we don't have to wait in line.

That's our experience.

I went on it last week. Yuck! Never again. -And I LOVE everything Disney does - but not this one. I found nothing fun or exciting or pleasurable about it in any way. The confined space felt like I was getting an MRI and I didn't feel well for a few hours afterwards. On the other hand my 8yo son and 50yo husband loved it.

Didn't make DW or me motion sick we really enjoyed the experience and will go again on next trip.::yes:: :wave2: :hyper: ::MickeyMo

Try it!
I am a bit clausterphobic, but I tried it and I was fine. They blow cold air on your face, which helps a lot. There is a lot going on, to keep you busy. It was a great ride! My husband gets sick on spinning rides, he did Mission Space and was fine! He did take dramamine earlier in the day. My DS6 rode twice! Try it!
