I'll be in Disney from August 15th to the 23rd. does anyone honestly think that we'll catch mission: space?? i heard it was planned to open on the 15th but i wasn't sure if that was to public or castmembers or what... who knows????

Mission space is already open most of the days for limited hours. I'm sure it will be open on time. A lot of people in these boards have been able to ride.

we were really loking forward to it and were a little nervous because we weren't sure when it was going to be open, thanks alot!!

Aug 15th is the official soft-opening date. I expect Epcot will be VERY busy that day, but the rest of the week should be okay.

Cheers

August 16, hopefully the lines will not be too long.;)

We just got back last night and rode it on Tues. night. The line was a 30min wait while Test Track right next to it was 120 minutes!! I thought it was awesome and didn't understand why there were some people close to the exit losing their lunch!! I love my iron stomach! Don't eat before you go on it, I guess! Have fun!

My GS 10yrs old rode it a few weeks ago while we were there. He loved the ride.
it was 7pm and they were open. Also don't forget to check out the games after you exit. We also sent home video post cards from there.

We went back 2 days later and it was open to cast members and their guest only.

We got to ride MS last Thursday and walked right on. Test track was only a 15 min wait. Guess it is the luck of the draw, cuz the park was fairly empty to us.

The official grand opening for Mission Space is scheduled for August 15th. Expect huge waits and crowds. It is equipped with FP capabilitiy, so take advantage of that.

I have ridden it twice during previews and think it is outstanding. One of the best that Disney has to offer. My 9 year old liked it too! The wait during the second time we rode was about 35 minutes, but will increase once the ride officially opens.

The G forces are very great, so if that bothers you, as the announcer in the ride reminds guests many times before boarding, "forgo the experience".

Hope you have a great time!:)
