Mission Space: Very exciting news!!

Cast previews are scheduled to begin early next week. Things are coming along much faster than I think we all thought, and I don't want to get people excited, but I guarantee, many will ride FAR sooner than Aug. 15th.

We will be there June 28-July 8.Maybe it will be in soft opening.I hope so.

This is great news. We will be arriving very late on Aug 29th. We cannot wait for this ride to open. If it is as good as everything we have read about it this could end up being the best ride in the "world".

We will be there the 14-21 also, so I'm sure we'll miss it to, but I'm going back in Oct. for the F&WF so I'll get to ride it then.

Don't give up yet. I read on wdwmagic that there might be a soft opening in MID to late June. There's still hope.

DH will be thrilled if it is open during our trip the beginning of July. I on the other hand, think this is one ride I might pass up. I'll send the kids first, and see what they say!

We'll be going in late August, and were afraid they might delay the opening and we would miss it... so this is GOOD news!

Whoever gets to ride this... please tell us how motion oriented this is... call me chicken, but I need to know before I blast off!

Anyone know what the height requirement will be for Mission Space? I have a short almost-6yo DS - we go in September. Also just read that Mickey's PhilharMagic will soft open toward the end of September - maybe we can be among the first to do both!!!

I recented read that the new ride will officially open on August 15th with soft openings before that. Hope this helps.

Mission: SPACE is definitely getting for a soft opening - the little wall blocking off the entrqance has been removed. Instead, there's now a "green wall" of plants blocking access to the building.
