I've got a question about Mission Space.

Is it a simulated ride like Star Tours or is it an actual ride like RnR?

I have not ridden it yet (soon!) but, from all accounts, it's a simulator.

It is a simulator, but the ride system is not like Star Tours or Body Wars. It is a centrifuge. Each pod is on the end of an arm of the centrifuge. By changing the speed of the rotation and the tilting of the pod, they can generate differing degrees of G-forces. Combine that with audio and video and it is a pretty convincing simulation.

Just remember NOT to eat a big meal before going onto this ride! Think of that old carnival ride, the Gravitron. We ate a pretty big buffet breakfast before we rode this first, and my poor boyfriend didn't feel very well after that :)

I will admit, it feels INTENSE! You may feel a little claustrophobic inside of the ride, as they really buckle you in; the monitor felt a little too close to me. It's a really cool ride though :)

Just keep your head back and don't look around. When you look from side to side you will probably feel sick.
