What's up with that? We are heading to DW in a few days so I've been monitoring the lines.
MS both sides have always been little to no wait. All the sudden it's like MS Orange is the thing to ride. LOL!

Not sure what app you are using to monitor waits but the MDE app and even posted wait times at the parks have been extremely inconsistent since crowds increased over the last 3-6 months. When we last rode MS, the posted wait time was 30 min and it was a walk on. I'm not sure if it's the cleaning schedules that create the inaccuracies or if there is another reason. I have found the touring plans app to be more accurate for ride wait times over the last few months.

Great info! Thank you! I've always used Touring Plans App and it has seldom let me down. Cerintaly noticed that posted wait times vs TP wait times have been pretty dramatically different on
a number of the rides in all parks.

When we went almost 2 weeks ago the time for this ride was posted as 30 minutes. We walked right on. It was us and one other party of 2 waiting. Wait times were a bit off sometimes and accurate other times.

I have to concur with the other responders. We have been back to WDW 5 times since reopening.

Almost every time, both sides were effectively a walk on. There was once when Orange was a good 20 minute wait. I assume that was due to a cleaning cycle.

Early to mid afternoon I've seen it have a decent wait (30 - 40 minutes is probably accurate at this time) - the queue at those times is often spilling outside into the extended queue. By early evening it seems to drop off and by later in the day it's usually a walk on.

Same experience as other posters, there about 3 weeks ago, 30 min wait time posted, pretty much a walk on. Had similar experience on most rides of actual time shorter than posted. One cast member told me they sometimes post longer wait times to spread out the guests to other attractions. Don’t know if that’s true but .......
