I know there's a lot of people who'll never darken the door of Mission:Space. Even the easy version! I've always loved it, but I realize its intensity and zero IP makes it rough to keep around. But I don't necessarily see a need to change it. It can be a real people eater, so it's great for parks.

It got me thinking. Should Disney rebrand this ride and change it up a bit? Do they theme it to Buzz Lightyear (not the campy Astro Blasters stuff) and attract kids and young boys? I know if I were that age, a "real life" Buzz space ride would be cool.

Not sure when Disney can ever get Marvel rights back in FL. But maybe an Iron Man theming or Captain Marvel Space Adventure might work? What do you guys think?

I have ridden Mission: Space several times, and I just never liked it. Anything else would be an upgrade.

Ugh, please no! We do not need to be removing original (non-IP) attractions and cramming another overused IP into the parks, especially Epcot. My boys were interested in space and enjoyed the attraction kids fine. Would love to have more education elements in the waiting area for those who can’t/wont ride it.

Mission Space red is the only WDW ride I've never done, and dont' plan to. Green was fine, but kinda boring/nothing. I don't think I'll ever try the Red side. So, I wouldn't really mind a retheme. I also don't mind IP at all in the parks vs original, so that's all good to retheme to a popular IP
