I'll float this one out to see if anyone has heard rumor of what might be Mission:Space's height requirement.

As Primeval Whirl came out of the ground, Nat & I would check progress always noting "maybe we can ride it next time we are hear." All along never even imagining that it would have (be tied for) the most restrictive height requirement at WDW.

Even though she has spent plenty of time admiring and questioning the new attraction, I don't dare make that mistake twice.

Funny you should ask that. Just today I read in the 2003 "Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids by Kids" that to ride MS that you must be 44 inches tall to take this trip to outer space.

Yee haa... Thanks Figaro....
My 47 inch tall, 6 year old will be delighted....
"she who loves all the thrill rides she can get on!"

A Cast Member on another board is confirming the 44 inch figure. I've now seen it in three places. I hope it is correct.

The regular Birnbaum Guide also says 44", but that not really a different source.

It also describes the seating as "snug".

I’m sure this has been mentioned MANY Times…so accept my apologies :) We will be in WDW in mid August, is Mission space projected to finally be opened by then?
