Just came back from the Annual Passholder preview of Mission: Space and I am very disappionted. They have been saying all along you will feel 0 gravity, All I felt was like I was in a gravitron ride at a county fair. The ride was way to short, and extremetly boring. The talking portion in the from the two videos was longer than the ride was. I for one was very hyped about this ride and couldn't wait for it to open. Personally I can now take it or leave it.

Sorry you didn't like it. Give it another try on a future visit! I myself needed quite a few rides on attractions like WDW's Space Mountain or Test Track to start enjoying them for what they are, rather than being disappointed that they weren't quite what I expected.

The zero-g sequence, as far as I can tell, is really just the effect of the g-forces that pushed you into your seat abating and the seats tilting forward. You are probably at or very close to 1-g at that point.

As for the length, I would love it to be long er as well, but then more people might get sick on it, and the whole spin-up, spin-down thing would start getting rather repetitive. While it is a highly advanced simulator, it is quite limited in the sensations that it can produce. At least it's more than twice as long as the Rock n' Roller Coaster ;)

Sorry you were dissappointed! Sometimes our expectations of something are so great, that the real thing never lives up to it!

I guess I was to excited about it. I just thought it was really boring and their hype was to much for something that really isn't anything. I think space mountain offer more thrills than Mission: Space

I did MS last Tues & really liked it. Did not get sick or dizzy.
All the warnings before the ride makes you think it will really do a number on you.
Not so.

Just good clean Disney type fun. Whole family from teens to 52 yo parents, all had a great time.

I thought it was. I felt the same sensation. The only difference is instead of looking at a big circle you have a fancy panel infront of you and a lcd screen.
