Mission Space ?? - Baby Swap and Best Time To Ride?

Just wondering what the best time is to ride Mission Space, as far as lines go. Do the FastPasses tend to all be gone early on? Also, we will be needing to baby swap, if that makes a difference. Any suggestions on when we should try to hit this ride? Right at opening? Later in the day? Last thing before it closes??

The best time by far to hit M:S is first thing in the morning. You can get two or three rides in before the lines become lines at all! We tried to ride late at night in December and the lines were extremely long. Now fast passes did not run out that day, but they get later and later.

My suggestion is to hit it first thing. There is a great exit area with lots of fun stuff to do while you are waiting for your spouse in childswap, by the way.

We hit M:S first and then went over and got our fastpasses for TT as it is notorious for running out of FP by early afternoon. We were there at opening.

We didn't get to Epcot until late morning but I got a FP right away for MS and then had lunch...and then rode MS with my FP. That worked out fine for us. Of course if you expect you might get sick I wouldn't have lunch beforehand We have 2 young kids and hardly got anywhere that early. I'd get the FP for MS as soon as you get in the park - have someone in your party make a beeline for it.

I think it (obviously) depends a lot on the time of year you're going... We were there in late August - right after the soft opening - and NEVER had to wait more than 5 minutes. (Even without Fastpasses!) We did the child swap each time, which worked out great... there's a little play area right outside the exit of the ride. I don't know if it was never busy while we were there because it was still so new, but DH and I each rode it about 6 or 7 times during the 3 visits we made to Epcot. Great ride!!

I would guess during peak times it would be busy and I would definitely do the early entry (if you're staying on-site) and make that the first stop to either ride right away or get a Fastpass.
