Followed a link in another trippie to your PTR today...and read the whole thing in one sitting!

In my defense, I'm home from work sick with an awful cold/bug.

On the other hand, I also read another 40 page PTR....

Anyway, I wanted to chime in and tell you that I was a single mom for 12 years and many of those years we lived pretty much paycheck to paycheck. My DS (now 15) has Autism and WDW was the one place where we could both escape the pressures of every day life and have a little magic.

So every year (except for 2005 when I got married ) I took DS to WDW...sometimes for 9 days...and lived it up! Many people, including my now DH who I've been with for 8 years and married to for 2.5, said it was irresponsible of me to spend money that way.

You know what? It might not have been the best financial decision and we might've had to juggle things a little for a month or two, but I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. DS learned to swim in WDW, tried new foods for the first time, learned to talk to CMs to share pins, was picked to be Temporary Ruler of the Realm, and had a chance to live in the world he knew best for a little while.

Don't let anyone tell you how to live your life. Right or wrong, it's your family's decision and you do what works best for your family. On the surface, you and I don't have a lot in common except for our DBOD...but know that there are people like me out here rooting for you! And happy to send hand-me-down boys' clothes if things get tight! Just PM me!

It was my trip report that you saw Mickey's pic on. I was so happy to meet Mickey. She was so nice. I am worried about her. I wonder why she abandoned us. Do you know if she started a trip report on another link. I miss her.

Oh how cool...Trent is such an uncommon name, ....but I am sure by next year when my son starts Kindergarten, there will be more.....

I have no idea what happened to her..I have Pmed her a few times....

I was thinking maybe her computer crashed....But then I thought if that happened, maybe she could have went to library and used their computer just to post to let us know she is alright

Really not sure..I did enjoy her writing style...was so entertaining

The thought crossed my mind that maybe because it was so crowded while you were there, maybe your trip was not as good as you hoped and you are disappointed.
