Disney Brain Overload Disorder
BEWARE THE DBOD
Disney Brain Overload Disorder is a subcategory of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Triggered by the planning, or the planned planning of any upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL.
Physical symptoms of DBOD include, but are not limited to:
1. Unkempt Appearance
2. Eyestrain
3. Carpel Tunnel Syndrome
4. Drooling
5. Loss of/Increase in Appetite
6. Neck & Back Pain
7. Sore Fingertips/Papercuts
Other indicators that you could be suffering from DBOD are:
Annoyed Friends/Family Members
Bouts of moodiness.. ranging from slightly hysterical giddiness to mind numbing confusion
Lack of/Inability to Sleep
Owning 2 or more books about Walt Disney World.
A marked increase in long distance bills due to calling WDW-DINE, Central Reservations, and assorted locations in or near Orlando.
Malnutrition due to a diet of 10 cent Ramen Noodles. (gotta pay for Disney somehow!!)
Planning menus 180 days in advance.
An encylopedic knowledge of WDW related acronyms.
The ability to name more than 3 resorts/restaurants at WDW.
While the symptoms of this disorder vary widely, the treatment is limited, and there is only one cure.
Persons afflicted with DBOD may find SOME relief on the DISboards. Other times, distraction may be neccesary. Upon occasion, there is need for an intervention by family members, including the seizure of all Disney related reading materials and the blocking of all Disney websites. This treatment is recommended for a minimum of 3 days, longer if needed.
The only cure for DBOD is to actually GO to the Walt Disney World Resort. Please note that said cure is a temporary one. DBOD will usually return immediately upon departure from the Resort.

I work offshore, so that allows me plenty of time to do the planning.
Just this morning I asked my DW to stop at the bookstore and pick up a book for me. She sais "as long as it is not ANOTHER Disney book".

sounds like we have a winner
