This was our first experience with the Port Orleans Riverside food court. I determined that it was “worth a try” based on a menu review online. The real experience was even better.

We used one coupon, to provide a ‘filler’ meal for DS16 who needs to eat more regularly than the parents. He had a chicken plate ($9.49 - chicken was moist, choice of 2 sides. We chose one side of BBQ beans (spicy) and one side of corn (DS16 evaluation, "slimy, but satisfying"), bottled water ($2.50) and a really good dessert, a custom-made ice cream sandwich ($4.99). You get to choose two big cookies and two scoops of ice cream (Edy's) and they make your sandwich to order. It was excellent. Value of meal = $17.93. Cost of voucher = $11.00.

I would definitely do this again. Of course, Disney is always experimenting, so if the ice cream sandwich option disappears, I’d have to think about coming here more as a matter of convenience (like, we are staying at the resort) as opposed to making it a point to stop by for dinner.

PS - I consider it a plus that the chicken was so good, at 9:00 at night.... I would have expected it to be dryed out by then.
