Missing woman in my hometown

well...didn't learn too much. police said she called her family last night. they consider the case closed. so, if the case is closed, that man won't be charged. which means she went willingly. I hate this for her family.

Exactly. What she did to her family was horrible. Either way she was gonna face the "bad side" of ending the relationship. Doing it this way makes it that much worse.

The picture of the person of interest gave me a start. Except for the dark hair, he looks like my 1st husband. It couldn't be him since he died 24 years ago but still made me jump.

I think she should be charged with inducing panic at least. She knew they were looking for her and did nothing. The police caught her, she didn't turn herself in...

I doubt it. There is no crime for an adult leaving without telling anyone.

We still have a mom that has been missing for over 2 1/2 years. I'm sure that Stacy did not leave willingly but unless Drew is found guilty of his second wife's murder (Kathleen) a few years earlier and takes some type of plea, I doubt that we'll ever know.

I hadn't heard about this one.....

I live just a few blocks from where Stacy lived. I used to see Drew everyday at our local school before his arrest when he would walk Anthony to/from school. Gave me the creeps!

There hasn't been much in the news recently about either Stacy or Lisa. It sure seems like they've given up searching.

I saw they found her. I don't think I had heard about her missing until I read it here but it was all over they found her.
