Miss the Fireworks. Actually was considering going to DL this summer, yet no fireworks is a deal breaker for us.

Grew up without fast passes at DL and with our first time and probably our only time at WDW, I actually prefer not having them. Some of them were a waste. Didn’t like having to refresh my phone constantly to find more. The heat and the Disney app kill my phone. Part of going to Disney is the magic of being spontaneous. Like a kids in the candy store. Which is why we prefer DL over WDW. Didn’t like how scheduled you have to be at WDW.

I’m here now. Don’t miss FP bu the Rise of the Resistance situation is obnoxious. Miss fireworks but gotta tell ya, aside from that it feels like trips from the late 80s/early 90s and that’s a good thing. Mobile ordering for quick service is outstanding.cast members are wonderful. starting Tuesday:masks only on transportation.

This post kind of struck me about our first and only trip to WDW 4 years ago, as frequent DL visitors. The Magic was what was missing at WDW as compared to DL. WDW is much more commercial. As Disneyaholics, WDW today anyway, is kind of the park Walt was trying to get away from.
I felt the exact opposite. DL feels like any other park to me, WDW is pure magic.

Shout out to Elise in Guest Services, who made this trip one of the most magical yet!

I can handle missing everything on that list but bring back Port Orleans!!!!

Garden Rocks/ETTB too. I’d book trips in a hot minute for Hanson or Peter Noone.
