Missing school in March

Opinions please - Now that my DD is in highschool, I would prefer that she miss the least amount of school as possible. We cannot go to Orlando for less than two weeks. Her school policy is that given 3 days advance notice, they will package up all materials and assignments that the student will miss for them to take on vacation - yes, this is in Ontario! After being at WDW last February during a very exceptionally busy week, I'm thinking that the week prior or following the March break is not going to be any busier. So what do you think would be easiest for a grade 10 student - missing the week prior to March break or the week following March break? (we will go for two weeks but one week will be March break).
