Missing Parrot on POTC

Anyone notice the Parrot at the end of POTC was missing the last few days? It cracked me up how the kids really missed him, hehe.

Did the pirate on the bridge with the dirty bare feet dangling over the side ever make a comeback? He was gone last December and still gone in February. He's one of my favorites!

I can't believe the parrot is still gone! I was there in early Feb. and noticed he was gone. I just thought he was getting maintenanced. Didn't notice the barefoot guy, I'll have to pay attention when we're there in 2 weeks.

I didn't notice the parrot was gone in February! Maybe he was gone, came back, and is gone again. I'll be there with you in 2 weeks!

The barefoot pirates was there...and the parrot was there for the first couple days of our visit (last monday and tuesday). He was gone Wednesday and Thursday and Friday.

That is interesting. Perhaps the two go on random walk abouts? Or should I say for the parrot... flying abouts?

I was there yesterday and was really excited to see barefoot guy and bummed that the parrot was gone

I am tellin' y'all, the two go on walkabouts or on safari, every so often. Also, the parrot can at times be seen visiting the Enchanted Tiki Room, he has a not so secret crush on Collete. Which ever so makes Jose very upset, because he has been dating her now for about 2 years. And even though he loves her, he just cannot seem to overcome the sting from past relationships, which is why he does not propose marriage to Collete. This makes her a rather unhappy camper, which in turn, has made her eye wander about these days. Hence..... the Pirate parrot flys on over, to woo her. Being the pirate that he is, his feathers are not ruffled in the least by his competition. Furthermore to make matters worse for poor Jose, is the simple fact that he just cannot compete with all of the wonderful booty that the Pirate parrot has and continues to bestow upon his beloved Collete.... Sigh..... Will Jose ever propose to Collete? Will the pirate parrot do a better job of not being tardy at his job? Will Collete tire of them both? And how much treasure does a girly birdie really need anyway? Will a thief attempt to seperate Collete from her small fortune? Will Collete go on vacation? If so, will it be a Disney cruise, or a stay cation? Will poor Collete end up losing her little birdie mind? And end up spending time in a sanatorium? Oh my..... what a tangled web love can weave, and end up possibly hanging one up, and sometimes literally.

The parrot was not there Wednesday-Friday when I was there last week.

That is because he and Collete had a secret rendezvous. Unfortunately, she did not give proper time off notice, so as a result, she has been written up at her job. Oh my!
The pirate parrot, is guilty of the same indiscretion, so he too is well.... in deep birdie doo doo. He he!
By the way.... they did have a wonderful time.... They decided to spend a few days at the Hotel Del Coronado. They went to the beach, did some shopping, dined at fantabulous restaurants..... and during the evening, from their hotel room balcony, decided to bestow upon unsuspecting tourists that were being annoying, birdie droppings, and let me tell ya.... them things can just be down right disturbing..... Ha!
Jose on the otherhand.... not so much was he enjoying his time back at home.
For although he is the consummate professional, still all the same, he just did not perform as well during those days, as he always does, when Collete is present on her designated perch. Sigh .....
