Missing Friday of the Sept pin event???

We are planning on Going to the Pin Event in September we have been looking forward to this trip. We read the package deal and were happy with the deal esp. since we won't need the admission. I checked airfares and with the available flight times we won't get into Orlando untill about noon.on Friday so we will miss most of what the package offers. Is it still worth the price? I think only the lanyard/pin is probably not worth it. What else will still be available by the time we get there? Is the package deal only for Friday? Are we on our own for Sat/Sun.
Also I am not clear on how the Map hunt stuff works if someone will explaine it please.
