Missing Door Magnets

I am more worried about FE then magnets. I can save the design for magnets and make them again if necessary. But taking a gift from others DISers, just not cool.

I doubt very seriously that it's another person from the DIS board or their families. I'm pretty sure it's from among the "unenlightened masses", LOL!

LOL - mistype on my part. I meant taking gifts I received from other DISers, not other DISers taking the gifts. Read your response and realized I must have sounded like an idiot. hahaha

You didn't sound idiotic at all. I just got a good laugh envisioning one of us DISers sneaking around the hallways, taking magnets, and trying to disguise them on our own doors, LOL!!! The other DISers would then hunt them down like a wild animal, LOL!! Just my chuckle of the day!

That would make me terribly upset for FE gifts to be stolen after I have taken so much time to shop,make and haul the stuff to the ports. And to think a family would think I didnt give them one...What to do about this?????

I would hope that my children would never do such a thing. I am going to have a little talk with my kids before our next cruise, and hope that if they do hang out with kids that think this is a fun game, that my children will be aware and not to take part.

On our cruise last December 14, there weren't too many from the DisBoards. We had more magnets than we could possibly put on our door, it was close to Christmas, a birthday, an anniversary...so our door was decorated to the hilt inside and out. Out of all of those magnets, the ones that came up missing were the magnets that I made out of a foam disney puzzle that I got from the dollar store. It cost me $1.00 to make nine magnets. I put them low so that the little kids would try to put the puzzle together, but alas, 3 or 4 of the pieces were taken.

I really had mixed feelings on it....it was only a magnet less than a $1 so don't sweat it and then I thought these parents had to have known where their toddler/child got their magnet puzzle piece...not one missing piece was returned to my door. It's not about the missing pieces per se, it is about the lessons not learned about respecting other people's property, you can look but not touch.

That said, I will still decorate my door, inside & out to the hilt. I'll put my favorites up high and hope everyone who passes by enjoys my door
