I have always been a WDW girl. I love it, but then I was fortunate enough to go to DL and DCA in November '06 for the first time in over 15 years and now my Dfi and I are desperately trying to get back to DL. Everyone told me that since I had been to WDW a few months before DL that I would be dissapointed with DL. We arrived and we were far from disappoined, we completely and totally fell in love with this place. I know it won't be for at least another 2 years until we can make the trip back out to CA, so how do I get passed this.:confused3 I wonder what the chances are of me winning the lottery!!!!!:thumbsup2

Everyone here totally understands.

We are all Disneyland lovers. I miss it as I'm driving out of the parking lot.

I find that reading on the DIS and planning that next trip helps me. It's so much fun to plan and I love reading other's experiences and learning new things.

We are with you and I wish you luck on the lottery! Don't play the next one though because I'm winning that.

I miss it all the time! My DH thinks I am nuts they way I act about it. I went twice last year and was planning on twice this year (June and Oct), but I can't wait that long so my friend, her daugher, me and my niece are doing a quicky weekend trip in March! We are nuts about it!

I miss it too and I'm way out in Canada so I can't go three or four times a year. When I went in November it was the first time in three years and to be honest I kinda like it like that. It makes it twice as special when you can only go once in a blue moon. Being on the DIS has helped me get through though and makes me a little less homesick for Disneyland.

What you need to do is, next time you do go, plan a very long trip. We're going agian this november for a nine day trip. Then maybe I'll have my share of Disney to hold me over for awhile.

Glad you understand. I have a DCL cruise booked in September so I will get my Disney fix.....I just didn't realize Disneyland has such a tie on me. I want to go back soooo bad, there is just a different feeling there.

From a fellow Coloradan, I laughed when I read your post because I have the same feeling in reverse. After a first trip to WDW last year, I thought it would be easy to go back to DLR.

Except now in the back of my mind I am thinking of all the things we will be missing at WDW. At the same time, when I was at WDW in the back of my mind I was missing lots of things from DLR.

What I ended up doing was choosing a date for the next DLR visit and another WDW visit in 2008. And now I feel better. :woohoo:

So that's how I can cure it!!!! I need to book trips to WDW, DCL and DLR every year!!!! All I need is a long lost wealthy relative to find me. :rotfl2: :thumbsup2
