I never could define my schedule or confirm any time off so that I could commit to and sign up for official DISCON functions. I'm still not sure when or if I'll have time off. I did buy a MVMCP ticket for Sunday the 8th but don't know what could happen between now and then.

Looking forward to as many of the "unofficial" events as I can get to. That is one of the really nice things about living only 30 minutes away. Of course that assumes that I'm not back up here in Montreal that week.

The job is ... well you tell me. On Thursday there were 60 people working there and by the end of Friday there were only 40.

I survived this round of layoffs but now I'm up here in Montreal thinking that the faster I work the faster I work myself out of a job. Well, all I can do is do my job the best that I can and just take what comes. I was looking for a job when I got this one. I really have no idea how long I'll have this job but I'm not counting on it lasting much longer!
