Thanks for posting Kevin's pic. He is still missing and his fiance is very worried - we all are. He works at DTD and they are aware of the situation. It is a bit complicated but the police are doing what they can. I really do think the local media could do a bit more, but that is my personal opinion.

I have passed a link to another CM friend who is very close to Kevin's fiance and lives down the street from them in Polk county.

Please keep praying that he is found alive. Yes, they have been checking the hospitals. Thanks for your help! It is appreciated!

All families that have missing loved ones are in my thoughts everyday. I can not imagine not knowing.

I really hope he gets back safe, no matter what happened to him. Unfortunately, with the out of control numbers of violent crimes in Orlando alone, this is even more of a reason for everyone who believes in prayer to take the time to do so.

Fortunately, the state understands how dangerous Florida is, and allows those of us with permits to carry weapons on us to protect ourselves in case of things like this. Makes me happy I went through so much to get it.

Is it possible that he was under a lot of stress or suffering from depression to the point that he just took off? Out of the blue one of my male cousins did that in his 40's. It scared us to death because at the time he worked in Yosemite. He had checked himself into a mental facility.

A silmiliar thing happend here on the DIS awhile back. It was someone's brother. I brought this up as a suggestion and they did not think that it was likely that their brother had fled as my cousin had. Turned out he had!

Just something to consider. Even people who seem to have it together might not. Have they checked any mental facilities or rehabs in the area?

Um this guy has type II diabetes. My old boss had this and was VERY dilagent about checking her blood sugar frequently. This didn't prevent her from passing out one day while babysitting her 2 year old. If her husband hadn't come home shortly after she passed out it could have been a huge tragedy for her and her daughter. Nothing a gun could have prevented.

You're absolutely right. I'm just saying that you never know. It's just unfortunatley that nobody knows anything but, I can assure you, without having ANY clues, they are looking at both (and likely many more) situations.

I remember that happening. Hopefully that's what happened with this guy as well and he's safe and sound somewhere.

Just wanted to update that it is posted on the CM only board. We are all heartsick over this. I printed out the Police report and hung it at work. I can not believe that I never saw this on the news (although people say it was on there... as I am a News junky). Please Please keep us posted. I can not even imagine what his family is going through (as mentioned in other posts, my prayers are with them... as well as Jennifer Kesse and Trenton Duckett, I just wish Kevin was getting more publicity)...
